Do I need to book an appointment before visiting a showflat?
Yes. Most new launches operate on an appointment system, especially during the preview phase. Booking reserves a time slot, ensures personal attention from an appointed agent, and can be a prerequisite for accessing VVIP‑day prices.
Why queue by yourself when you can get a property agent to service you?
What’s the difference between a “Preview/VVIP” and the “Official Launch”?
The preview (sometimes called VVIP launch) happens 1–2 weeks earlier. Balloting and first ‑day discounts are usually offered then. Once the official launch starts, price tiers may be adjusted upward as units get snapped up.
How much cash do I need to secure a unit on balloting day?
You’ll write a cheque or PayNow for 5 % of the purchase price (the “Booking Fee”). This remains in the project’s project account; if you back out within the 3‑week Option period, 25 % of it is forfeited.
Can I use CPF for the booking fee?
No. The first 5 % must be cash. CPF can be used from the next 15 % (within 8 weeks) onward.
What if I’m still selling my current HDB flat—can I buy first and sell later?
